Kindness Rocks are left in the community to brighten the day of a stranger, and the hope is that they are found at exactly the right moment by the right person. There are thousands of local rock groups with a shared interest in spreading these random acts of kindness. Rock artists will often write on the back of the rock where you can post a picture and share the story of how you found it. Some artists may also put a handle to find them on social media so you can share that you've found it.
I always encourage artists to be at peace with releasing their rocks and knowing it will have a positive impact on someone, regardless of whether they ever hear who found the rock. It is a special treasure to hear from the finder, so if you found a rock, whether made by me or someone else, I would love to hear the story of how you found it.
